Hello,

I have SQL Server 2012 + Analysis Server 2012 (11.0.2218.0) installed for learning purposes.
In this version, the cube browser pivot functionality was dismissed, so I have to purchase Excel.
Which office version is needed,
does Office 2007 suit?

Thank You
Joachim

I should go with at least Office 2010 (we're already 2014 you know, 2007 is 7 years old).
In Office 2010 you can install the PowerPivot add-in if you want to play.

Ideally I would get Office 2013, that way you also have Power View built-in.
