hi All,

I need some suggestions - I am supporting large number of Development and Test databases. Almost every day I get 50+ requests to restore the databases from Production to Dev or Test to Dev (replace or new both)

So, I want to write a generic script which can take care of restores requests. Please advise if someone has already experienced this situation and can share some experience.

Thanks in advance.
Regards
Sachin Diwakar.

You can configure central management server (CMS). Add all your SQL Servers and write a dynamic script to restore.

Yes, you can create a job for RESTORE to execute it on demand.
