Hi

I'm heading down to SQL Saturday 291 in CHI tomorrow, and am wondering a couple things:
- What is the dress like? Jeans ok?
- Do most guys bring a laptop?

Thank you!

Jeans should be ok, you need to be comfortable but avoid going on your pjs.
You don't need to take a laptop, it's probable that you won't use it at all.

Jeans should be fine; dress comfortably but still presentable. I wouldn't bother bringing a laptop. I'd bring a zipping folder with a legal pad, pen, space for business cards, some of yours if you have any...charge up your phone and dress in layers.
