I have the following dataflow task:
Oracle Oledb Source (Oracle 11)
Rowcount operator
Native client Oledb Destination fast load (sql server 2012) batch size 100000
from a dev machine to the testserver across LAN (HP EVA SAN)
Target table has a primary key with clustered index
The tasks start with great speed until it hits about 15 million rows.
Memory doesn't seem the issue as there is +1 GB free memory. Cpu usage below 10%
Networkload goes from 100 Mbps to 200 kbps
Oracle waits: sql net from client
Sql server wait:PAGEIOLATCH_EX
Any suggestions why performance suddenly drops off?
