Hello,
Would an article about introduction to dimensional modeling be good topic to write or compare and contrast between OLAP data vs OLTP data. Please suggest. If that is ok, I would like to work on it.

It would be a good topic. The important thing to do is focus on teaching someone about dimensional modeling. I'd suggest you write a couple sentences that explain what you are trying to do and them make sure your piece sticks to those sentences.

No, though I'm thinking this is a 3-5 page sized article.
