Is it true that SQL replication will no longer work with Oracle databases with newer versions of SQL coming out? If this is the case when will this take into effect?

Appreciate the information.

BOL confirms deprecation, Here is citation from
http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms151149(v=sql.110).aspx

Heterogeneous replication to non-SQL Server subscribers is deprecated. Oracle Publishing is deprecated. To move data, create solutions using change data capture and SSIS.
note Caution
This feature will be removed in a future version of Microsoft SQL Server. Avoid using this feature in new development work, and plan to modify applications that currently use this feature.
