Hello Folks,

I did cascading parameters in 2008 R2. Based on 1st parameter, the next parameter behaves and it will displays the data in dropdown. This is good.

I got one different situation now. I have a parameter called SKU. Its empty parameter. We need to type the SKU and view the report otherwise it can be NULL. I modified it and it is acting like a multiple SKU now. We can enter multiple SKUs at a time and we can see the report. The new requirement is, can we do that wildcard search also.

Question 1) Is there any way we can do that parameter both Multiple SKU and wild card search parameter.

I tried but got another idea.

I got an idea that, i will add another parameter called SKUType...the data will be MultipleSKU and WildCardSKU. So if i select MultipleSKU in dropdown, then the next parameter should behave like multiple sku parameter and vice versa. If i select Wildcard SKU from drop down, then the next parameter should behave like wild card search sku.

This is like cascading. Can we do this. If yes, please throw an idea.

Thanks,
SK
