That's a very open question. What version were you expecting?

Ok, well I can't see the image you've attached, but presumably you've applied a cumulative update or something like that?

What do you get when you do SELECT @@VERSION ?

Ok, so have you applied a cumulative update?

(I'm hoping somebody else will come along and be more helpful in a minute .)

What I'm really trying to find out is why this is bothering you, when it happened, what has changed recently (i.e. have you applied any updates), etc. etc. Without the background information we can't tell you why you're on that version.

In our application database server, the version of SQL 2008 R2 native client is 10.52.4000.0.

In client machine, the version of SQL 2008 R2 native client is 10.50.1600.1.

Do we need to install same version SQL 2008 R2 native client in database server and clients?
