Tasks executing out of sequence

  I have a package with a sequence container having two Execute Package tasks. This container is connected to a series of Execute SQL tasks by Success constraints.

  The attached snapshot shows the result when I right-click on the task called "Call SSIS for Ref Lab Lookup" and choose Execute Task. It not only executes the selected task, but also other tasks as seen by the green highlighted tasks. All of the extras are outside the sequence container.

  The same thing happens if I try to execute the other task. The same thing happens if I try to execute the sequence container itself.

  I have tried the following, all with no luck:

  --Deleting and recreating the Execute Package tasks and the sequence container.

  --I read about the chance that deleting and recreating all the constraints in the package might work. Did not.

  I have similar structure in other packages and they work fine. It seems to be related only to this package. I have compared properties of the tasks and packages but there are no differences.

  Can someone shed some light on what is wrong or what I am missing?
