I already had SSMS 2008r2 installed on my local machine and recently also installed SSMS 2012 on my local machine. Everything seems to function properly in both with one exception. I cannot modify an existing maintenance plan (nor can I can create a new one) for 2012 with my local SSMS. I have to remote into the server and do it from there. Is there a setting that needs to be tweaked to allow this?
