File system error: The following error occurred while writing to the file '': An unexpected error occurred. .
(Microsoft.AnalysisServices)

I can't get one AS DB to backup successfully. It gets to 2 GB and fails with the above error. Plenty of disk space. I backed it up successfully 6 months ago and it was 1.9 GB.

In case anyone is interested, the resolution was to script out the SSAS DB, recreate the DB from the script and then process the DB.

There was some data corruption is why the backup would not complete.
