Is there a way to view the report and the subreport as a pdf?

My report works fine in SSRS and when clicked on the parameter on the main report , opens the subreport too. However , When I export it to pdf, the subreport functionality doesn't work.

Any idea how can I implement this?

Can you give some idea of the layout of the report and sub-report?

Also, what version of SSRS specifically? This is in the 2008 section, but do you have R2?

The main report has a Product Id # in a pivot format giving monthly data and the subreport has all the attributes of the Product.

ok, if you are on 2008 R2, you can use the RenderFormat function to determine whether the subreport is visible be default, so if exporting to pdf for example, you make the subreport visible.

If you are not in 2008R2 but just plain 2008, then you can't.
