Please help me, what are the system procedures and system functions that are used for validating whether a user is a valid user or not when we click on "connect" button for sql server.

There are no such procedures or functions exposed. The entire login sequence has a couple of packets of its on the TDS specification, and the verification of SQL logins are performed by code you cannot access directly.
