The main goal of DAX (to my knowledge) is to give BI capability to power users (BI for the masses) - mainly Excel power users - such as business analysts and financial analysts. These articles should not have SSAS as a prerequisite. SQL Server is fine but making SSAS as the prerequisite defeats the purpose of DAX. Can these articles be rewritten?
