Hi,

I am getting the following error when deploying the SSIS packages to SQL Server.

===================================

Could not save the package "D:\abc\Cancellations ETL Release 1.0\Deployment\Datawarehouse_Canx_Master.dtsx" to SQL Server "(local)". (Package Installation Wizard)

===================================

Catastrophic failure

I am not able to figure out the issue as the description is not clear.

Please help me out as I have to present this project tomorrow to our CTO.

Early response is very much appreciated. Thanks in Advance.

Which version of SSIS?

What’s the deal with Excel & SSIS?

Try deploying with dtutil.
Do you have Integration Services installed?

Yes, I have it installed. I am able to log into Integration services from SSMS.

I am just testing the SSIS packages by deploying on different machines. It worked perfect on 2 machines but got this error on 3rd machine.

I will try to install it using dtutil tomorrow because the time is 2:05 A.M here. I will let you know the status tomorrow. I hope this error will not come up tomorrow in the presentation.

once again thanks for the response. :)
