SQL Platform I have is SQL 2008 R2,

I don't know much about SSIS, but I know that SQL 2014 is not SQL 2008 R2. 🙂

Your package will not work in SQL 12 or SQL 14 it changed from 08R2 when 12 came out. May want to go to the 08R2 forum for some help. I would also put more of the error message with your post as well, thats pretty generic. Have you googled it?

Without knowing specifics about the SSIS package this is hard to solve. Here is the relevant KB from Microsoft but it probably wont help you: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/973746
