I have always believed that it was up to me to find ways to add value - especially if I expected to have added compensation. I feel that I am pretty well compensated for the skill set I bring - not overpaid, but not underpaid either.

At this point, I'm not driven by finding ways to increase my compensation but I am still very motivated to make sure that I provide the value for which I am paid.

I want to be remembered (when I retire happily) as someone who cared deeply about the quality of their work.
