I need help in using the backup file. I am trying to restore the sql database and I want to avoide the date and use astrick so how would I do that?


example:MyDb_backup_2013_06_30_231639_7324894.bak

Want to use like: MyDb_backup*.bak

Can you please help

When restoring you have to specify the exact file name of the backup in the RESTORE statement
