Please let us know what you think about the new design in the discussion for this article, with any comments or suggestions you have.

Are any of the suggestions posted here going to be implemented? I'd prefer the old format if we're going to have to wait for long...

I have been wondering this too. Overwhelmingly negative feedback ... but no admission of "oopsie, we goofed and are switching back".

I'm not so sure that a total of 111 comments over a day or so more than 3 weeks could be called "overwhelmingly" anything - 37 comments per week hard overwhelms.

But I agree that it would be nice if we could switch back - the current format is significantly inferior to what went before, except perhaps for those reading it on a tablet.

Well, considering that you have to look to find this topic now and that most comments added in the first couple of days were on the line of "we don't like this", I think it's a valid question. We were asked what we thought about it, responded that we didn't like it, and ... nothing. If I'm on a tablet, this isn't horrible, but when using my laptop/desktop - it's definitely inferior to what we had before.

The overwhelming statement was about the RATIO of positive to negative comments, not the number of them.

Do not like your new format at all. I read your messages because what I was interested in (the articles) was right at the top. Now I have to waste my time scrolling down to find the meat of your message. No Thanks.

If nothing else it would be nice to have a reply addressing people's concerns, and if there is no intention of changing anything then maybe explaining why?

I like having the summary at the top. No need to scroll to see what's in the letter.

Maybe the forums are not the right place to express the concerns if people want something done about them. Maybe the place to send these concerns is where Steve suggests in this post on a similar issue.
