Hi
I have 2 servers A & B (SQL Server 2008R2). I have to setup mirrioring and data of Server A will be mirrored to server B.
I understand that mirriored databases will go in recovery mode and will longer be available for use .
The server B is also used as SMTP mail server. My questions is: If I setup mirrioring, will my mails keep going or will they also stop working once I mirror?

Thanks

Mirroring is done at the database level in SQL Server. This should have no affect on other services that are also running on the server.
