Not sure if this is the right section but I am currently testing three software products that will allow me to analyze the performance of the database servers I administer.
The products are:-
Confio - Ignite
RedGate - SQL Monitor
Idera - Diagnostic Manager
I'm just wondering what experiences people have had with these products. I've seen adverts for SQL Monitor everywhere but have limited experience with it. I've used Idera in the past but it is expensive (last quote of $2,000 per instance).
Ignite seems to be a bit different from the others, focusing on SQL queries executed more.
Any advice would be most appreciated.
