Hi,

I have the MCTS in SQL2008 and want to upgrade to 2012.

Currently I have been unable to find any study resources for 70-457 or 70-458 (the two upgrade exams), does anybody know of any good material?

Thanks.

You're not likely to find any resources specifically for upgrade exams, other then the "Skills Measured" section, such as at http://www.microsoft.com/learning/en/us/exam.aspx?ID=70-457#fbid=OGyNLFIf22D

What I did was get the Trainig Kits for 70-461, 462 and 463, which cover the same topics.

How did you do on the exams using those three books? I've got all three as well and am wondering whether to do the upgrade exams or the 461,462 & 463 exams. Other than cost, and a bit of time I don't really have a preference. I'm just in the process of comparing the two skills measured set for the Upgrade versus the non-upgrade exams. Any thoughts would be appreciated...

Read the Skills Measured section in the link I sent and if you feel confident on those topics, take the tests! Let us know what you think of them because I'm facing the same choice.
