I've finally embarked upon the certification path after (too many) years of broken resolutions.
I'm choosing to go the study guide route rather than a boot camp or other course, as it allows me to also fit in the study during quiet periods in my current job.

I'm starting from scratch, so the path is easy:

70-461, 70-462 and 70-463 for MCSA followed by 70-464 and 70-465 for the Data Platform MSCE and (if I still have the will to live) 70-466 and 70-467 for the BI MCSE

I have the Oreilly Study guides for the 3 MCSA exams and am forging my way through them.
However, I was just browsing for study guides for the MSCE exams and am unable to find any.

Does anyone have any details of study guides for 70-464, 70-465, 70-466 or 70-467 please?
Ideally both printed and electronic format, but either would be fine.

Thanks in advance

Apologies - I should have posted this in the Career/Certification forum.

I was looking for the same thing. I have passed the 70-461 and 70-462 exams. My employer is requesting details on training materials for the 464 and 465 exams, but I haven't been able to find any so far.

Anyone?

There are no specific training materials for the 464 & 465 that im aware of.
There are microsoft press books for 461 - 463, which are supposed to be a basic version of the 464 & 465.

The 464 & 465 will contain more of the same (464 similar to the 461, 465 similar to 462). The idea is if you got through the 1st 3 exams, which are basic enough questions, your next jump is to more complex questions on the same areas.

for example, instead of just knowing syntax for a partial backup/restore, you will be given a complex scenario for DR and asked what the best solution is.

If you done pretty well in the 1st 3 exams, perhaps bone up on the basics and then just go for the 464 & 465 and see how you get on. Thats my plan at least. if i fail the 464 & 465 at least then il know what level i need to be at and can go away and focus my study to the appropriate level.

Trancender will hopefully bring out sample exams for the 464 & 465 eventually which would be the best study route/way to assess if your ready.

Thanks Winston

Now that I'm part way through the first 3 exams, I've had time to compare the curricula and that definitely seems to be the case.

I did find one company offering 70-464 training online. I looked as their online sample and it seemed fairly good. No answer back yet to the question of whether they will be offering 70-465 though. However, even just the 70-464 may give an insight into how much more in depth the study for 70-465 needs to be.
