When I checked the Job Activity Monitor, I could not see the job is running (It was marked success from the previous run). When I viewed its history, I saw the job was in progress.

How to fix this issue?

Hi,

are you sure that there is no session open by the job? Why did the job is canceled without changing the state? Perhaps an entry in the sql error log?

Please check the sysprocesses-dmv (look after program_name column with sql agent description) to ensure, whether the job is running or not.
