Over the weekend I upgraded a SQLServer 2005 Express instance to 2012 standard SP1. Everything went fine, but I do not see the "Maintenance plans" section under "Management".
I also canno start SQL Server Agent, and I'm wondering if this is the cause of the problem.
Thanks in advance for any help.

Ah .. nevermind. Apparently I was logging in with the wrong account and didn't have sysadmin. The folder is there now.
