I've used the debugger many many times to debug stored procedures on the same server, but just lately, when I start the debugger, it just executes the entire code without allowing me to step through it.

I'm sure I saw a forum post about this, but I can't find it now.

I just got a new laptop last week and I think I installed the SQL Server client tools first and then Visual Studio 2008 and 2010 later. I've also had various service packs installed from Windows update. It was working last week, but yesterday started this weird behaviour.

Anyone else had this?
