Is it possible for a flat table to use the same parameter as the cube? I know several flat tables can use the same parameter. I am building a repot containing several maxtrix tables some of which will be sourced from a cube and others just flat tables. They all contain the field that I want used as a parameter. I have tried and failed. Is it because a cube parameter value is different to what you actually see?

I have discovered why I was having problems. The cube parameter I was using was not showing as scientific notation but it actually was. I have managed to use part of another string cube parameter and all is now well. So I have answered my own question and yes you can have SSRS reports using both cube and flat tables.
