I am writing program in VB.NET 2010 Pro to SQLEXPRESS Database for a small service . They are using sbs 2008 and they have SQL 2005 express installed on a HP proliant ML 150 G6 server with 8gig ram. I notice that the memory In their sql database they have sbsmonitoring and has not been maintained sence 2008. The database has well over 4gig in it, and I also notice that its a memory hog. I blame sbsmonitoring. I need to uninstall this because I am worried about the new sql database I am getting ready to install. I have look on the net and I cannot find any direction that tells me how to un-install. I have stoped the services for this. I also need to remove the sbsmonitoring database to make more space.

I want to install SQLExpress 2008 do I need to uninstall sqlexpress 2005 first.

Thanks as always
