Dear Sir/Madam,

I downloaded Visual Studio 2010 from microsoft so its automatically installed sql server 2008 R2. In Sql server 2008 it is missing Management Studio.
So I tried installing management studio separately but it failed.
I am getting error "Begin or BeginInvoke can not be called on a controlled until the window handle has been created".Please help me to install management studio and to use the database.

Re-run the installer, that was a common error I had with a dodgy media disk, its another one of the object reference not set to an instance of an object errors.

Usually ran successfully the second time.

Management studio or dot net installer?
If it is management studio I have run more than twice but no use.Still I got the same error msg.

What version of Management Studios are you installing.
I had a case where third party software installed SQL Server 2008 R2 Express
on a SQL Server 2008 server.

SQL requires you to use the Management Studios for the highest version
of SQL Server. In this case, I needed to add SQL Server 2008 R2 management
studios to be able to be able to work with the maintenance plans for the
SQL Server 2008 instance.

I saw that link but given,Sql server 2012 R2 Express with SP1 but i need download for Sql Server 2008 R2 Express management Studio.All other features for Sql Server 2008 R2 is installed except management studio.
Plz provide the link for ,
