How to add Server Admin from different Location

Hi All,

My PC is PEOECOM098.

I wanted to add a fellow-developer (PEOECOM571\Owner) in the list of Server Administrators via the Analysis Services properties but I can't seem to detect her location in the Locations box (Analysis Services Properties -> Security -> Add -> Locations).

PEOECOM571:

- Already connected with PEOECOM098 via LAN

- Already installed MSAS and MS SQL Management Studio

Please do advise if you have any idea regarding this.

Can't you search the entire network?

Also is what you are adding is set up as a group not a user. By default SSAS won't detect it unless you select it in the Object Types button of the Select Users box
