ran the sqlserver2005 sp4 in windows server2008r2 cluster node1 and getting below error for Backward Compatability feature upgrade and except all features upgrade successfull.

MSP Error: 1316 A network error occurred while attempting to read from the file: C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\90\Setup Bootstrap\Cache\SQLServer2005_BC_x64.msi

how to make it successfull ? any suggessions ?

Hi charipg,

Execute the script from the support document: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/969052

It will tell you the information about the missing msi/msp files along with the location where you can find it. Probably the missing file is from a hotfix/SP.
