I read an article on SSC.com about putting SSIS log messages (specifically, in this case, error messages) into a table so the table could be used to send an email. "Serving Warm SSIS Errors" by Frank Banin 2011/12/09. He tells how to enable SSIS logging for the package, but never tells how to assign a table for the log. He says "Remember to replace
sysssislog
table in the Stored Procedure with the name of the logging table you used to setup your logging if it was different."
Where is that assigned?

When you right click on your package and setup your logging, you select the Provider type (in the first drop down) to log to SSIS log provider for SQL Server (there are other options like Windows Event Log and XML, ...). After selecting SQL Server in the provider type drop down, select (or create) a connection pointing to your table you're using for error logging. The author uses a table names sysssislpg, you can create whatever table you like in your database. See the attached screen capture and the two poorly drawn red arrows.
