for sql server logins, there is a property menu of status that I can disble the login, and deny permission to connect to database engine.

What does it mean: when a login is disabled. or denied .

Can the user can still connect to the database?

I have a SSRS report, data source is setup to connect to db using this user account , I found even I disabled the login, it can still connect to the database.

Thanks
