Merge Replication showing connection error in Event Viewer every 60 seconds

I have a merge replication with one publisher and one subscriber. I checked the event viewer this morning and saw this error being logged every 60 seconds:

The process could not connect to Subscriber

I checked the subscriber database and the last time stamp for data was about 24 hours ago, pretty much when the event viewer starting logging the error above on the publisher.

I double checked the subscriber server and found that SQLBrowser wasn't running, so I started that up. But the publisher is still logging the same error every 60 seconds.

When I open the Replication Monitor on the publisher, it says everything running fine.

Any ideas about what I should do?
