Hi,

we have 3 servers that are SQL Server 2008.
2 servers are the publishers, and 1 server is the subscriber of both doing a pull subscription, so distributor is on the subscriber server.

We are planning on upgrading all 3 servers to 2008 R2.
the steps would be:
- upgrade subscriber server to R2
(i've read distribution db version should not be less than publisher, is this accurate?)

- upgrade publisher servers (could be same time or the following week)
would this require initializing replication?
