As the volume of data is less and Database is around 10 GB, here they prefer taking Full Backup on daily basis & then whne restoration is required they restore from that backup as required
My question is if we take a Compress backup on daily basis, can we restore it in similar way??

as the backup & restoration is done by Wizard...

Yes. There is no change in restore.
Restore is same for compressed or normal backup.
