Hi all
I am wanting to script out all the object permissions for a particular user in my DB. I had thought I would be able to do this using the Generate Scripts wizard but although I can generate the login the securables and their permissions are not generated.
Does anyone have a way of doing this?
Thanks

I have actually figured it out using the following script seems to work:
SELECT State_desc + ' ' + [permission_name] + ' ON ' + object_name(major_id) + ' TO USER' FROM sys.database_permissions Where grantee_principal_id = 7 order by object_name(major_id)

If it helps any, here is the latest version of my script to do an Instance Security Audit. It isn't pretty, and probably isn't the most efficient it could be, but it gets the job done. Just change the @outputtype variable to 2 to get the actual assignment statements to use (or leave = 1 for columnar output).
