Hi All,

Is it possible to add comments in ssrs report ?

My clear requirement is :

Users can able to see the deployed reports in report service browser.
Is this possible to add comments on the report by using report service browser ?
i.e can we implement any methods by using vb.net to add the comments ?

Thanks in advance.

Roshan

In the report manager, go to the properties tab for the report and add your description there.

I am not asking about the description.

i want an editable textbox in ssrs report. By using that end user may enter comment in that box.

is this possible ?

Thanks,
Roshan

No it is not possible.

The only thing I can think of is to give them a parameter input for the comments and then show that on the report after it is rendered.

Hi Daniel,

Thanks for your quick reply.

I tried the same what you have mentioned in the above reply.

But that is not much user friendly.

Is there any possibility to do the same by writing vb code in the code tab.

Thanks,
Roshan
