I have to add a couple new parameters to a stored proc. running on an old sql 2000 server. Obviously I don't want to break existing code so I want to use default values. Does sql 2000 support default values for stored procedure parameters? It seems like defaults came along after sql 2000.
Thanks!

Yes, 2000 supports default parameters. I'm almost 100% sure that 6.0, 6.5, and 7 do as well..

Great. Thanks for the quick response. I can't actually get to the box to try it. I'm sure you're right. Maybe I'm thinking of variable initializers.
