The server network address "TCP://192.168.147.24:5022" can not be reached or does not exist. Check the network address name and that the ports for the local and remote endpoints are operational. (Microsoft SQL Server, Error: 1418)

plz help me for this error, i m trying to configure DB mirrorring but every time i get this error.

Does that network address exist and can it be reached?

yes, and i have checked the port(5022, 5023) has been opened using telnet command.

i dont know where the problem. Crying

you cannot specify IP address in the Mirroring wizard GUI, are your mirror servers part of a domain or a workgroup

both server in domain controller, and i have checked with the server name also, but same error is occurred, server is not reachable..

Specify the FQDNs of the servers in the mirror GUI and try again

have you successfully created the endpoints?
