No I'm saying that from a architectural design POV this property possibly needs to be RO.
I've never touched SSIS so that as useful-ish as I can be here.

What is the parent of this property - an ExecuteSQL task?

Hi Phil,
What I found was that if you double click on the task and try to set the IsQueryStoredProcedure Property to True you can't do it.
If you click on the task and click on IsQueryStoredProcedure Property you can changed it to true.
I appreciate all efforts to help.
Thanks.

Still in 2014 (SSDT-BI from Visual Studio 2013 probably is more accurate, but SQL Server 2014 is where I will be running it) you have to set it by marking the Execute SQL Task and chose properties, instead of doubleclick on the task and change it "from within" the control itself, even though there is a row in the GUI for it.
