One small quibble, you may want to look at Table 3, it looks like you have two rows labeled TABLE_CATALOG, the second should probably be TABLE_SCHEMA. Other than that, very very useful article.

Good summary and beginner article. You might want to look at your definition of is_ansi_padding_on. YOu state that when ON CHAR(n) and BINARY(n) are padded out to the length. Those are always padded, setting ansi padding on causes VARCHAR(n) and VARBINARY(n) to be padded.
