plan to upgrade to Windows 7, but which version (home premium, pro or ultimate) will run 2008 Express? Thanks, Jerry

I currently have Developer Edition SQL 2008 R2 installed on Win 7 Home Premium as well as Professional.
You should be fine with the express edition on those same platforms.

Jason - were you able to get SSRS and SSAS running on Home Premium? I haven't yet upgraded to 7, but I had to run Vista Business and/or Ultimate to get those services running (something about the authentication components not being "compatible" with whatever's in the Home versions).

Late response, but I didn't see that question until today.
Yes, I have SSRS and SSAS running on Home Premium currently. I don't recall having done any special tweaking for it either.
