after i copied rebuildm.exe and sqlsui.dll from CD to the SQL instance where these files are missing, i i ran the exe file and here what i got:
"There are no qualified maintainable instances to rebuild".
Do you know why? Please help, i have never seen this issue before

What are you attempting to do? Rebuild the master database? Change licensing? Collation?

for me also same issue.i am trying to rebuild the master database ..version SQL Server 2000 Enterprise edition
