Don't feel inhibited if you believe that you're not a brilliant artist. The important thing is the humor of the workplace and the technology. We can always redraw, but adding humor is not an option! Just do a sketch, or even add your own caption on an existing picture, or set of frames.
Best wishes,
Phil Factor Simple Talk

Exciting: I'll be sending in some humour! Even if I don't get picked, it's still exciting because I'm looking forward to seeing the stuff that does get picked.
So, er, these new cartoons, they're like the sequel to Raw Materials, huh?
Oh yes, that's the standard of joke you can expect, Mr Factor

What about if we can draw cartoons very well but don't know much about SQL and server tech type stuff? Anyone wanna collab with me? (one of your members (my dad) told me to check this out, in case you're wondering why I'm even on this site haha)

Hi Phil,
I have sent my details and portfolio too. I am working as a Senior Software Engineer in Microsoft.NET Technologies for the past 5 years. I would be very much interested in drawing technical cartoons. Please find some of my technical cartoons from this portfolio link.
My portfolio can be found here : www.scribd.com/doc/16569076/Karthiks-Cartoon-PortFolio
Thanks & Regards, Karthikeyan http://codebate.blogspot.com http://kaaranam1000.blogspot.com (Regional Language)

So, what happened with this? Did anybody get picked to be an SSC cartoonist? I never heard back. I've decided that's because they're still laughing hard at my amazing submissions.

Must be. We must be like the funniest people to have submitted stuff, hence why our wait is the longest.
*high five*

Sorry, my fault. I got swamped with some unexpected urgent jobs, and a few other things, but I'm hoping to get something sorted out next week.
Best wishes,
