Hey there,

Sounds fun! Love to hear something about data mining too if that's ever on the cards. I was asked by my manager to look into this aspect of SQL Server and even though I've used SQL Server off and on since version 7 data mining is something I've never tackled.

Sounds like an enticing project, but I just wanted to mention one small problem: the press release (http://www.sqlservercentral.com/articles/SQLServerCentral/72501/) does not include a link to the Stairway Series portal anywhere! Yes, there are links to the four example tracks, but you should also have a central link for the home page (http://www.sqlservercentral.com/stairway/) or, at a minimum, mention the Stairways link in the left-hand navigation bar rather than assuming it is "obvious".
