Chars

Hi allI am facing an issue in SQL 2005 in which I want to print a string of more than 30000 chars and they should be appended to each other. The requirement is that, I want to create a script dynamically for the sp which is having 30000 chars.I got the result in separate chunks but not able to put them together as the maximum supported datatype is varchar(8000). Not able to use ntext and text as they cannot be used as local variables. It would be great if anyone can help me in the same. Thanks

Nesting Stored Procedures

Comments posted to this topic are about the content posted at http://www.sqlservercentral.com/columnists/rmarda/nestingstoredprocedures.asp

Performance Adding Hints

Comments posted to this topic are about the content posted at http://www.sqlservercentral.com/columnists/rmarda/performanceaddinghints.asp

How Dynamic SQL Can Be Static SQL Part 2

Comments posted to this topic are about the content posted at http://www.sqlservercentral.com/columnists/rmarda/howdynamicsqlcanbestatic2.asp

How to Build Dynamic Stored Procedures

Comments posted to this topic are about the content posted at http://www.sqlservercentral.com/columnists/rmarda/howtobuilddynamicstoredprocedures.asp

Mark DTS Task As Complete

Comments posted to this topic are about the item Mark DTS Task As Complete

Maximum stored procedure, function, trigger, or view nesting level exceeded(limit 32)

im new to sql. i have created a delete trigger in table1. once i deleted the record in table1 it will also delete that specific record in Table2. I did like this every day tool will take a full backup and after that differential backup at a given interval . and restore standby database in with standby mode(|Readonly) .it need a file called undo.dat. some time this file is giving error .cannot delete the file undo.dat . I checked the location of the file there was no file called undo.dat .actually file was not created at the time of last restore . how to solve this?3)	To solve above problem I change restore mode to with recovery and with norecovery for fullbackup no problem .but for differential backup it is giving error “chain is not complete” how to identify a chain of backup is complete. padmakumar

Case Study: Importing New Data Without Emptying Existing Tables

Comments posted to this topic are about the content posted at http://www.sqlservercentral.com/columnists/rmarda/importingnewdatawithoutemptyingexistingtables.asp

When to Use Dynamic SQL

Comments posted to this topic are about the content posted at http://www.sqlservercentral.com/columnists/rmarda/whendynamicsqlisuseful.asp

How Dynamic SQL Can Be Static SQL

Comments posted to this topic are about the content posted at http://www.sqlservercentral.com/columnists/rmarda/howdynamiccanstaticbe.asp

Dynamic SQL vs. Static SQL Part 1 Security

Comments posted to this topic are about the content posted at http://www.sqlservercentral.com/columnists/rmarda/dynamicsqlversusstaticsqlp1.asp

Exploring Deadlocks

Comments posted to this topic are about the content posted at http://www.sqlservercentral.com/columnists/rmarda/exploringdeadlocks.asp
