I am running a script against our DW database. The script collects data from 3 different DBs and stores them in temp tables. Joins those temp tables and slects required results. I need to be able to put this script in SSIS to export it to a flat file. And I get the 'No available i/p columns' error. As per your suggested options i tried to put it into a PROC , but was not able to since
a USE database statement is not allowed in a procedure, function or trigger.
How do i fix my problem. Thanks in Advance.

Altering a column on a Replicated Table

Comments posted to this topic are about the content posted at http://www.sqlservercentral.com/columnist

Retain NULL values vs Keep NULLs in SSIS Dataflows - Which To Use?

Comments posted to this topic are about the item Retain NULL values vs Keep NULLs in SSIS Dataflows - Which To Use?

TRANSACTIONAL REPLICATION SQL SERVER 2005 ENTERPRISE

Disregard Please

Log Shipping

Hi,I am new SQL DBA.Can anybody tell me how to bring secondary server online for production, if primary database goes crash/damage, which is participating in log shipping. How do we know log shippping failure occured? Thanks in advanceVijay

How to Short-circuit Where Clauses

Comments posted to this topic are about the item How to Short-circuit Where Clauses

Simple Method for Importing Ragged files

Comments posted to this topic are about the item Simple Method for Importing Ragged files

Receiving the following error when altering a column-- Error Cannot rename column because it is being replicated

I have a table that is replicated in two different publications. I need to rename the columns. I tried removing the tables from the replication and then altering the columns but for some reason the system thinks that the table is still being replicated. I found some documentation on this for Sql server 2000 but not 2005 and the fix for 2000 will not work in 2005. The error I am getting is Cannot alter column because table is part of replication but it isn't. It has something to with the system not dropping some information.Has anyone else had this problem in SQL SErver 2005?

High Availability (DR) Using SQL Server 2005 Transactional Replication

Comments posted to this topic are about the item High Availability (DR) Using SQL Server 2005 Transactional Replication

Transactions in Transactional Replication

Comments posted to this topic are about the item Transactions in Transactional Replication

Dropping all Triggers

Comments posted to this topic are about the item Dropping all Triggers

Merge Replication - Manual Range Handling

Comments posted to this topic are about the content posted at http://www.sqlservercentral.com/columni

Allowing BULK INSERT for non-SysAdmin Users in SQL 7.0

Comments posted to this topic are about the content posted at http://www.sqlservercentral.com/columnists/pibison/bulkinsertworkaround.asp
