Why did the job is canceled without changing the state? Perhaps an entry in the sql error log? Please check the sysprocesses-dmv (look after program_name column with sql agent description) to ensure, whether the job is running or not.Greets,Patrick

How to the inconsistency in the job status?

When I checked the Job Activity Monitor, I could not see the job is running (It was marked success from the previous run).
