This is a question I would run through Quest Support. They have methods for diagnosing and fixing issues relating to high CPU utilization.

Foglight high CPU utilization

Foglight has a very high CPU utilization rate on my server. I have checked and the other instances of foglight use only 1-15% CPU, the instance in question uses over 45% CPU. This high CPU rate is being used just to check system processes. Even though this server is used quite a bit, I have never experienced the CPU being this high. Generally, bouncing foglight will fix the problem, however that is not the case on this server. I have bounced foglight 2-3 times and it still is using over 45% CPU. I was wondering about some other common fixes for this problem. IF any of you have experienced these problems before, could you please reply with your solution. Also, bouncing the server is a last resort because it is production. Thanks for any help.

-Kyle
